Nike introduces a unique colorway of Christain Tresser’s legendary Air Max 97 to their enigmatic but growing “Athletic Department” line, which already includes styles including the P-6000, Dunk Low, Air Force 1, and the Air Max 1.

With a Sail foundation and White inner lining, it’s in contrast with the University Blue on the tongues, insoles, pull tabs, overlay stripe, mini-embroidered Swooshes, and rubber outsole. The “Athletic Department” of the collection is imprinted on the insoles, with a Sail midsole completing the look of its leather and mesh construction.

Like the others in the pack, not much is known about it yet but with more and more pairs getting subsumed, official word from Nike should emerge soon. Check back in at this very page!
