Coming off of its 36th anniversary this year, the Nike Air Max 1 has enjoyed a resurgence as of late. With more Big Bubbles and retro colorways already in the pipeline, the Beaverton-based brand is now set to give the silhouette an update in terms of its branding.

This upcoming Nike Air Max 1 comes in collegiate-ready colors. White corduroy adorns the base of the upper, while a creamy dose of cracked leather dresses the sneaker’s overlays. Elsewhere, the mudguard is dressed in a cool dose of navy, while orange accentuates the sneaker’s eyestays and outsole underfoot.

As mentioned above, this Air Max 1 arrives with a new and updated branding. The tongue label opts for a simpler text face with a pop-up Swoosh logo, while the heel opts for a more retro and dynamic font. This is also the same logo used in the upcoming Nike Dunk Low “Coconut Milk” and Nike Air Max 1 “Rugged Orange”, which could perhaps point these sneakers being apart of an upcoming collection.
