Helena Long Debuts First Collab With Vans
Showcasing her duo identity as a skater and a drummer.
UK-based skater Helena Long, who is also known as the drummer for indie rock band Upset Stomach, is set to release her first collaborative apparel collection with Vans.
Just like her musical output, punk aesthetics are reflected throughout the lineup, with the title of their song “Lonely For You” embroidered on a twill shacket and scribbled graphic patterns adorning the baggy pants.
Her skater persona is then prominently displayed on the Vans Skate Sport, which has a suede upper dressed in a classic black and contrasted with white stitching linings and checkered heel tags.
Lastly, the “HELENA LOOONG” inscription embossed on the leather heel tabs and bandmate Laura Fitton’s cartoon illustrations underneath the outsoles complete the design.
With a release date of 1 May, the Helena Long x Vans collection will be made available via Vans Skateboarding and select retailers.
