The highly anticipated Fear of God x adidas footwear collection is finally starting to have legs. New images of the collaboration have started to pop up in recent times, pointing to perhaps and imminent release date. Amidst the myriad of new silhouettes, the duo are reportedly bringing back the adidas Metro Attitude silhouette as well, according to insider @snkr_vn123.

Digging dip into the Three Stripes archives, the adidas Metro Attitude originally debuted in 1986 and was worn by the great Patrick Ewing. Last seen in 2014, the high-top basketball shoe hasn’t quite made its mark for adidas over the past decade. All that is set to change however with Lorenzo’s Fear of God set to bring it back from the vault.

Through early imagery, much of the upcoming Fear of God x adidas Metro Attitude looks simple, vintage and elegant. White leather surrounds the basketball shoe’s upper, with hits of black suede accentuating the shoe. Around the back, adidas’ old-school blue Trefoil logo retains its original position, while what looks to be a semi-translucent gum sole rounds off the design.
