2023 is far from its curtain call but Jordan Brand has already begun teasing what they’re cooking up in the kitchen for next year. Pulled out of the cookie jar, the Nike Air Jordan 5 “Olive” from 2006.
It was initially introduced as a part of their lifestyle series, released at the time with matching apparel. All of its most distinguishing features a mainstay, the foundation of the sneakers will be fitted with buttery suede strips saturated in the titular hue, giving them a military aesthetic. While tongues include 3M backgrounds and orange accents on top of Jumpman insignias and internal linings, laces and eyestays remain coordinated. As a finishing touch, the drab olive green midsole bits are accented with the hallmark P-51-inspired graphic’s orange spikes, lightly decorated with light gray speckles.
Look for the Air Jordan 5 “Olive” to go on sale at select Jordan Brand stores and Nike.com in the spring of 2024. Expect the RRP to probably be around $US225.
