The New Balance 860v2 were first introduced in 2011 specifically designed for overpronating runners like its dual-density medial post. It also has a cushioned midsole made of NB’s signature ABZORB foam, providing shock absorption and added comfort.
Although they were tech-focused, performance-driven in their design, as its contemporaries have, they too have found plenty of success in the lifestyle space since its first reemergence in 2019. A few years later, they make another appearance this time in a “Silver/Black” makeup.
There’s retrofuturistic air that surrounds its name, the epitome of forward-thinking design at the turn of the new millennium. The aforementioned color palette addresses its build. Silver metallic panels run amok throughout the upper, presiding over the mesh alternates between black and white inserts underneath. Its parts distinguished by its multi-material construct complemented by a uniform color scheme.
