Following the showcase of his FW23 “SCUM” collection, German designer Gerrit Jacob has revealed an upcoming footwear collaboration with adidas Originals via his Instagram.

Curating a lineup of Superstar, Gazelle and Forum 84s, a bubblegum palette consisting of pink, green and purple hues dress the respective pairs, completed with flame stencils which runs through its toe box. This creates an elaborative visual effect, which also draws references back to the conceptual main collection offered by the German designer.

As though working on actual canvas art, three-stripes and trefoil brandings were all given a plain white finish, creating a clean aesthetic that further emphasizes the gradient hues. Lastly, the collaborative shoe box features similar flame graphics overlapping the three-stripes linings.

No release dates have been confirmed for the Gerrit Jacob x adidas Originals SS23 collection yet. But a raffle via the adidas CONFIRMED App will be announced in the near future. Until then, we will keep you informed here when details surface.
