The Nike Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Metallic Red” has seen a few retro releases since its initial release in 1986. They made a comeback in 2009 alongside the “Green Metallic” pair as part of the “Do The Right Thing” set; both included Jumpman branding on the tongue and heels.

The last time they were seen, in 2017, the shoe featured the classic “Nike Air” branding, but there were still minor differences from the original 1986 design. However, the pair is expected to make a comeback in 2024 with its make faithful to the blueprint that Peter Moore built upon.

There’s a mockup released by @zsneakerheadz wherein the titular pair is dressed in a white leather base with red accenting the outsole; along with a metallic finish on the profile Swooshes, the Jordan Wings, and the ankle collar.

Find them in the spring of 2024 on SNKRS with a price tag of US$200. Information is scant at the time of writing but more should emerge over the coming months together with official images. Stay tuned!
