[Update 17 Apr 2023] While no release dates were confirmed for the Nike Air Max 1 ’86 “Indigo Haze”, official images via the Swoosh label have now surfaced. Take a look at them on the article slider above while we await for the pair’s arrival.

[Update 4 Apr 2023] New information points that this “Indigo Haze” Air Max 1, with some sources calling it “Light Armory Blue”, will also be produced to a limited 1,986 pairs—like its “Smokey Mauve” contemporary. They were presented by Kids of Immigrants for sale during Black Flea Market in celebration of Air Max Day 2023. As of now, there isn’t any release date for a general release but stay tuned for an update when it rolls around!

The Air Max 1 has been at the fore of attention since the year began due to the highly-anticipated return of the archetypal Nike Air Max 1 OG “Big Bubble”. Having arrived during this year’s Air Max Day, its makers have since been riding the inertia of its success by releasing more colorways of the model. Succeeding the pair is the “Indigo Haze” makeup.

With a palette of Light Smoke Grey, Diffused Blue, and Indigo Haze, the pair arrives holistically in various tones of blue. Underfoot, comes the white midsole featuring the hallmark Air Bubble window on the heel. Light Smoke Grey forms the mesh base layer with the titular Indigo Haze coming aboard through the overlays from the vamp, quarter, heel, and interior. It’s finished off with Diffused Blue’s presence on the mudguard that wraps around the circumference of the shoe and the profile Swooshes.

Final touches come upon the Nike branding on the tongue labels, footbed, and heel embroidery. All the above-mentioned sit atop a blue rubber outsole.

There currently is no release date yet but they’re expected to be released sometime this year with a price tag of US$150 on Nike’s brick-and-click. More information should surface within the coming weeks or months alongside some official images.
