Eric Emanuel Unveils This Year’s McDonald’s All-American Games Jerseys With adidas
The McDonald's All American-Games is a yearly event, showcasing the US' top basketball high school talents.
It’s time once again for the McDonald’s All-American Games. Each year, the top US’ high school senior talents gather nationwide for the prestigious showcase. Set to take place on 28 March, this year’s edition is hyped up as one of the most exciting iterations in recent years, with none other than Bronny James, LeBron James’ son, set to feature in the showcase.
While the young athletes are undoubtedly the night’s focus, they have to look good while showing off their basketball skills too. Cue Eric Emanuel and adidas Basketball.
For the second year running, the New York-based streetwear designer will apply his creative touch on the jerseys’ of this year’s All-American Games participants. While the design elements largely remain the same as last year’s iteration, the main colors have been changed to feature white and black instead of last year’s red and navy. They prominently feature the McDonald’s All-American Games text in a collegiate font up front and center, while the McDonald’s classic logo appears on the matching pair of shorts.
Together with the jerseys, a short sleeve shirt, and a hoodie are also set to release alongside the jerseys. The short sleeve shirt arrives in two colors, reflecting the two basketball jerseys that will be worn on the court. The hoodie comes in one single navy outfit. Eric Emanuel’s logo features on the crest of the hoodie, while the Three Stripes motif appears closer to the collar. Behind, the McDonald’s All-American Games circular logo takes on all of the back print.
While these are the only apparel shown thus far, expect a whole range to be available come the weekend. Not much is known about the release of this collection, but expect it to be available via adidas’ website.
For now, you can look through the collection via the top slider above, and also visit the McDonald’s All-American Games‘ website for more details regarding this year’s showcase.
