While this is certainly not the first occasion Nike has created kids’ exclusive silhouettes, it is certainly clear that the brand is making a push toward attracting the younger generations. Recent entries such as the Air Jordan 3 GS “Hide and Seek”, Air Jordan 1 Low SE GS “Black Cat” and Air Force 1 Low PS “Clownfish” all contain young and fun motifs suited towards younger children.

To join the lineup of youth-focused designs, Nike is now preparing the iconic Air Force 1 Low silhouette in a playful way. One that comes with a variety of velcro patches that allows kids to exercise their creativity.

The uppers come in a playful mix of vibrant colors, utilizing leather and mesh for their construction. A shade of tan takes on the velcro overlays and lateral Swoosh logo, providing ample real estate for the aforementioned velcro patches. The patches themselves mostly take on the form of colorful Nike and basketball-themed motifs.

It’s certainly a sneaker that functions as both a wearable and a toy for kids. The velcro patches give them the opportunity to play around with the design of the shoe, and there’s nothing cooler than to rep your own creations.
