The Quintessential “Bred” Colorway Lands on the Nike Air Jordan 14
Another Christmas gift from the Jumpman.
Coveted retro releases of Jordan Brand’s central line have been on a steady barrage since late-last year’s Air Jordan 1 “Lost & Found”. Even with their release calendar already packed, news has emerged that a new, unseen “Bred” colorway of the Air Jordan 14 is in the pipeline.
Although there’re no images yet aside from this mockup, it suffices to give clues to what the final iteration will look like. It’s hallmarks are a definite mainstay like the Ferrari-inspired emblem on the ankle collar, the metal insert on the tip of the tongue, as well as the carbon fiber plate on the outsole underfoot.
Aesthetically, the upper’s dressed predominantly in black with red accenting the pair on the heel tab, the Jumpman and “23” imprint below it, the tongue, and the midfoot of the outsole. The design’s rounded off by the white highlighting the profiles of the midsole.
They’re expected to retail for US$200 on SNKRS come December. But more details on them should arrive over the coming weeks or months, surely along with official images.
Similar in palette, consider the Nike Air Zoom Generation “First Game” as well that’s dropping very soon.
