Just when we thought the “Year of the Rabbit” line up is done for the year, another design has surfaced via the hands of @sneakerjamz. It makes sense though—it is the year of the rabbit and not the week of the rabbit after all.

While this Dunk Low has been given the “Year of the Rabbit” title, the bunny graphic on the side of the heel defers from the other YOTR designs released during Lunar New Year. It’s a more stylized and cartoon-ish version of a rabbit, with cheek blushes to boot.

The tongue also sees special embellishment, with an embroidered red Nike logo pushed to the side in favor of the the “85” insignia—an homage to the year the Dunks made its debut under Peter Moore. Characteristic of Nike Dunks launched under the SE 85 range, a two-toned Swoosh is layered on the lateral side. “Nike” in bubble-like font is sewn prominently on the heel.

Zooming out to the colorway, this Nike Dunk Low SE 85 “Year of the Rabbit” is a mix of soft grey and clay red tones. The upper is constructed with premium suede, lending the silhouette extra textural play. Rounding out the design are white midsoles and brown outsoles.

While no official release dates have been attached to these early looks, we are sure more information will surface from Nike soon. We’ll be sure to update this page with the latest details, so be sure to keep it in your bookmarks!

In the meantime, may we interest you in the Nike Gamma Force dressed in retro colors?
