When Supreme dropped their Spring/Summer 2023 preview, the buzz was centered on the pieces that paid homage to Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain. Well, it was the most visibly-straightforward collab, given that the 90’s icon was printed onto a range of apparel. But now that the bustle has settled slightly, @dropsbyjay continues to fuel the hype of the SS23 drop by revealing another collaborator within the mix—Cactus Plant Flea Market (CPFM).

Through the years, CPFM has gained a substantial following in the streetwear scene that was only further propelled when influential figures repped their pieces. Their brand exuded a magnetic playfulness through bold graphics and mixed prints, which has remained the core of CPFM’s outputs, even in their collaborations with Nike, McDonald’s and Cactus Jack. After all, what other brand would dress the Dunks in Grinch-like green hair?

With Supreme, though, CPFM has opted to reinstate its reputation as a graphic-centric label. Heavy hoodies in various colors feature an unfilled Serif font, which reads “Is Love Stronger Than Fear. Supreme”. With no question mark in sight, the statement starts off as a question but ends as a matter-of-fact proclamation—slightly eccentric and a distinct CPFM take. Accompanying these hoodies are varsity-like jackets with Supreme’s taglines that have undergone a CPFM redesign.

While no concrete details as to which week these Supreme x CPFM pieces will drop, we expect more news to reach our ears soon. Rest assured that we’ll update with more information as soon as they are made available.
