[Update 14 Mar 2023] Although he’s more than earned a signature shoe with any brand with his Olympic gold medal, a collaborative pair with Nike is good enough a consolation; and these leaks ascertain it. Thanks to @iamricosuav, we now have a look at the pair.

It sees a grey suede finish on the overlays presiding atop the white leather base layer, while paired with dark silver Swooshes on the profile with brown and pink sharing duties on the heel tab. Additionally, a two-feather emblem finds a placement on the lateral heel. All of which are supported by a white midsole and a brown outsole. Clearing any doubt who this belongs to, it’s namesake is also imprinted below the Nike SB branding on the tongue tag.

Additionally, famed Japanese designer Verdy has lent his artistic vision to the SB Dunk Low as well. Specifically, the family crest of Yuto Horigome that is featured on the heel.

A release date hasn’t been announced yet but with these new images emerging, it’s on the way out the pipeline. Stay tuned for updates!

LINEProfessional skataboarder Yuto Horigome has been accumulating accolades since he started his skate career as a teen, but perhaps the most esteemed is his title as the first person to ever win a Gold Medal in skateboarding at the Olympics.

Given Horigome’s commendable reputation, it’s no surprise that the 24-year-old is decorated with various sponsors, with the Nike SB team as a significant representative. And it seems likes the Swoosh will be rewarding the skateboarder’s efforts with his own collaborative Nike SB Dunks.

At the moment, no images have surfaced for this potential release, with @prvt.selection‘s Masterchefian teasing this drop on his Twitter. Regardless, it’s an exciting announcement that cements Horigome’s contributions to the Nike SB team and we’ll be sure to update this page when more information surfaces.
