Come 16 October, 2023, the Walt Disney Company will be celebrating their 100th anniversary. That’s a century of giving us some of the most compelling stories in our childhoods, for the generation before and the generation after us. Ahead of the festivities, classic American sportswear brand Champion and quintessential Japanese streetwear purveyor BEAMS will deliver a collection in commemoration.

Based on what BEAMS has teased on their Instagram, the collection will feature two sweatshirts, grey and beige, made from Champion’s signature Reverse Weave. It’s an innovative material suitable for a relaxed silhouette during the imminent spring, made in accordance to BEAM’s specifications.

It’s believed that the release will take place in batches beginning with their oldest IPs first. Thus starting with the face of the company, Mickey Mouse and the first Disney princess Snow White. They alternate between the two colorways as the centerpiece. On the sleeves of both are Dumbo and Winnie the Pooh.

A price point hasn’t been announced but they’re reported to arrive on BEAMS’ store on 18 February. More offerings will be on the way in the coming months and we’ll update accordingly.
