Shortly after news emerged that the famed “Infrared 23” color is making its way back to Nike’s lineup with the soon-to-be released Air Jordan 6 Low Golf “White Infrared”, it now seems like yet another silhouette is enjoying the bright red hue.

While casual passerby might look at the Nike Air Huarache “Icons” a classy interpretation of the white/red/black makeup, ardent sneakerheads will be the first to let them know that its actually borrowing one of the most iconic silhouettes in Nike’s long history. The OG Air Max 90 first showed up in 1990 with the same “Infrared” dressing, which most recently saw a retro release in 2020.

Taking after the classic Air Max 90 blocking, grey wrap around the overlays of the Air Huarache’s upper, with a touch of metallic silver appearing on the toe box. The Infrared 23 touches down on the mesh mid panel and heel, as well as the semi-translucent heel tab. Finally, black adorns the rest of the heel strap stretching into the lateral side of the shoe, as well as the outsole underfoot.

Enjoy an official look at the upcoming Nike Air Huarache “Icons” via the top slider above as we await further information regarding its release. The RRP is expected to be US$175.
