[Update 1 Nov 2023] Over a year since the samples first surfaced, Sean Wotherspoon’s adidas Gazelle Mid Indoor will finally hit shelves on 17 November.

Details remain scant but they should surface imminently especially with D-Day closer by the week. So stay tuned! In the meantime, check out the new images of the pair and its sustainable hemp construction in the gallery above!

After teasing several adidas samples last year, 2023 marks the year where the collaborative collection will hit shelves as promised by Sean Wotherspoon. Kickstarting with a recent release of the Orketro, the American creative now brings us a closer look at the adidas Gazelle “Hemp”.

Contrasting to its original look, woven hemp fiber constructs the upper of the classic silhouette, trailed by white and green stitching patterns that run across the shoe. Sticking to its eco-friendly approach comes vegan materials on the shoe tongue and side stripes, marked with an additional “hemp” and trefoil logo tab.

Last but not least, embroidered co-branding details  hits the orange heel tabs while semi-translucent gum outsoles docks the bottom.

While release details are yet to be confirmed, the reveal of the pair suggests that it won’t be long before it gets an official release date. In the meantime, we can expect other pairs from the collection to be revealed in the coming months.
