[Update 9 Mar 2023] Rumor no more, the brand-new Nike Air Max Pulse silhouette has finally made its official appearance. Although it looks vastly different in terms of color from the earlier leaked photos, most of the design elements came through. Perhaps the color scheme was switched to better match the returning Nike Air Max 1 OG “Big Bubble”. Regardless, you can now enjoy an official look at the new Nike Air Max Pulse via the top slider above and await its 26th March release date.

With Air Max Day 2023 on the horizon, Nike is preparing its latest Air Max offerings in anticipation of the 36th anniversary of the legendary product line. Headlining this year’s Air Max Day is the Nike Air Max 1 OG “Big Bubble”, a nod to Tinker Hatfield’s OG design dating back to 26th March 1987.

While there will no doubt be other Air Max models enjoying a new colorway release come March, Nike looks set to double down on this year’s celebrations by introducing a completely new silhouette to the lineup.

Courtesy of Complex, this new entry is dubbed as the Air Max Pulse, this new Nike silhouette looks vaguely similar to the Air Max 270 in terms of shape as well as the protruding Air Max Bubble heel unit. That being said, the Air Max Pulse does definitely have its own unique standpoints.

Right off the bat, mesh is used as the base throughout the upper of the shoe. What seems like leather forms the mudguard overlay that wraps completely around to the heel, while another layer of textile furnishes the heel overlay. This Air Max Pulse also introduces a new Air Max branding on the Air unit.

The Air Max Pulse is expected to retail at US$190, and will be first ready in conjunction with Air Max Day—26th March 2023. Until we get our hands on more information and official imagery, take an early first look at the upcoming silhouette via the top slider above, courtesy of Complex.
