Golf has certainly been on the agenda list for Nike in 2023. Off the back of Eastside Golf’s Air Jordan 1 High Golf “Out the Mud” in December last year, the Swoosh’s golf division hasn’t let their foot off the gas coming into the new year. With hotshots like the Air Jordan 1 High Golf “Panda” and the Masters at Augusta-themed Nike Air Max 1 Golf “Always Fresh” already in the pipelines, the Swoosh brand is now ready to add another legendary release to the lineup.

When it comes to the world of golf, one name immediately springs to mind: Tiger Woods. Widely regarded as the GOAT of golf, Woods’ popularity transcends that of the sport itself, putting him into the same pedestal as other legends such as Michael Jordan, Roger Federer and Tom Brady, to name a few.

In 1996, Woods turned professional and immediately signed a deal with Nike, and the two become synonymous. Regularly sporting Nike apparel and fairway-ready Swoosh shoes, Woods helped cement Nike as one of the top dogs in the golfing world.

It’s no surprise that as Nike looks to focus on their golf division in 2023, Tiger Woods is once again at the forefront. Come 16th February, what is described as Tiger Woods’ most popular shoes ever makes its return.

The Nike Tiger Woods ’13, on its 10th anniversary, is set to become the golfing legend’s first ever retro silhouette. Created by Tobie Hatfield, the shoe was created on the basis of Woods’ desire to have the comfortability of the Nike Free model on the fairways.

Coming in the exact same makeup as the one Woods wore 10 years ago, the Nike Tiger Woods ’13 sees a clean white being utilized almost throughout the entire shoe, save for its black Swoosh and golf-ready outsole. A tinge of red, a staple of Tiger Woods’ closet, accentuates the ’13’s tongue logos, eyelets and spikes underfoot.

Of course, the highlight of the shoe is what comes within. Outfitted with the aforementioned Nike Free design, the Tiger Woods ’13 provides a unique fit as well as better grip on the grass. Supplementing its performance-ready spikes on the outsole is a Dynamic Fit system with nylon straps, giving the wearer all-around comfort to take on the courses.
