Since her debut in 2007, Japanese virtual singer Hatsune Miku has gained a massive following not only domestically, but also internationally. Taking a contemporary approach to fashion, sports label FILA has decided to tap illustrator Mai Yoneyama for a special collaborative release with the virtual character.

Bringing Yoneyama’s art to life, sneakers as seen on-feet by Miku will take its form in the Teratach 600 Hi and Floater. Releasing in two colors respectively, the design focuses on the character’s color palette, which consists of grey, black and emerald.

For the Teratach 600 Hi, cobra tactical belt around the collars adds a militarian touch to its leather upper, before serial number writings finishes the details. Marking Miku’s identity, alternate Japanese reading of her name arrives as ’39’ logos on the shoe tongues.

On the Floater, the suede and mesh construction sees a ‘39%’ or ‘93%’ text on the side window panels which represents the color percentage of black for each colorway. Contrasting to the Teratach 600 Hi, the pair will instead get a Katakana lettering of her name on the shoe tongues.

Now available for pre-orders, head over to atmos’ website to cop the FILA x Hatsune Miku sneaker collection. Window will close at 11 February 11:59pm JST and products will be shipped in April. Retail prices will be 18,700 JPY (~US$145) for the Teratach 600 Hi and 16,500 (~US$125) for the Floater.
