LOEWE x Studio Ghibli “Howl’s Moving Castle” Isn’t Pure Fantasy
A luxurious take on the film's worldview.
Anime has played a big part in shaping Japanese culture and in recent years, the franchise has shown a remarkable expansion outside of the film industry. Even with Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli, we’ve seen merchandise collaborations such as My Neighbor Totoro x PORTER, and also a recent opening of the Ghibli Park in Aichi Japan.
This time, looking to the 2004’s “Howl’s Moving Castle” film, luxury fashion brand LOEWE has officially partnered up with the Japanese animation studio for an upcoming capsule collection release. Lined up in a range of apparel, bags and accessories, the collection features over 100 items which focuses on characters and imagery found within the film.
Set to drop exclusively via LOEWE boutiques, online and pop-up stores, sign up now via their official website to gain early access to the collection a day before the global launch on 2 February.
In the meantime, LINE app users are also able to download exclusive wallpapers featuring leather-printed graphics of the film characters.
