The Air Jordan 1 Low WMNS “Mocha” Returns in 2023
Not to be confused with the 2021 release, the Air Jordan 1 Low "Mocha" returns in a darker shade of brown.
Ever since Travis Scott rolled up to Nike Town with his initial Air Jordan 1 collaboration, the “Mocha” colorway has become a hit among sneakerheads worldwide. Iterations such as the Air Jordan 1 “Mocha” flew off the shelves when they released, and subsequently Nike has not let up with their utilisation of the popular shade of brown.
This year, Nike is set to rework their 2021 release of the women’s exclusive Nike Air Jordan 1 Low “Mocha Brown”, this time utilising a darker shade of brown than its predecessor.
This upcoming offering of the Air Jordan 1 Low sees a more subtle usage of colors, mainly sticking to brown and sail. The “Mocha” brown adorns the leather overlays on the uppers, while a creamy off-white takes on its base.
Nike adjusts the color wheel when it comes to highlighting its features, with a lighter khaki brown accentuating the Swoosh and Jumpman brandings on the tongue and heel. Rounding off its design on the sole is the same palette used on the uppers, with sail painted across its midsole and dark brown used on its outsole underfoot.
