[Update 23 Feb 2023] Tiffany & Co. updated their webpage with more information regarding the release of the upcoming Tiffany & Co. x Nike Air Force 1 Low “1837”. Besides releasing them on Nike SNKRS on 7th March, “clients” of Tiffany & Co. may also enter a raffle on their website on 3rd March. The winners will be notified on 6th March, before pairs are shipped out the day after to coincide with the global launch date. Unfortunately as of now, it is unclear if the raffle is available to worldwide audiences or just US customers. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as soon as we get more information on them.

[Update 3 Feb 2023] Updates have been coming fast and furious for the upcoming Tiffany & Co. x Nike Air Force 1 Low “1837”. Now, an on-feet look has arrived courtesy of @yankeekicks, shortly after LeBron James rocked up to Madison Square Garden in them. Take a gander via the top slider above as we await 7th March!

[Update 1 Feb 2023] A release date for the high-end, collaborative pair has been confirmed. Scheduled for 7 March, they’ll arrive dressed in Tiffany & Co.’s signature colors while chaperoned by an array of accessories. The Air Forces is definitely flying into premium territory. The campaign images, partnered with some satirical copy, detail its finest minutiae such as the metal engraving on the heel counter, the premium suede and nubuck toolings, and the dual-branded dubraes.

Lest we forget, the shoe cleaner (shaped like a toothbrush), the custom shoehorn, alternate laces, and—in case the pair doesn’t get enough eyes intrinsically—a whistle. Legitimately, a whistle. It’s not a metaphor.

Although not disclosed in any official capacity—yet, a varsity jacket may be part of the offering as well, first seen on the back of LeBron James en route to the locker room pre-game at Madison Square Garden. There’s a chance it may be an F&F exclusive but there’s nothing that ascertains its availability thus far.

Regardless, if they do have a general release, will you cop?

Over the weekend, Nike and Tiffany & Co. both took to Instagram to officially unveil their upcoming Air Force 1 Low “1837”, shortly after early leaks started surfacing a few days prior. While there hasn’t been an update in terms of a release date or official imagery, the two brands have previewed a special box ahead of the collaboration.

Dressed in an all-clad tiffany blue, the Air Force 1 Low “1837”‘s box is simple yet stunning. The only detail that comes on the box is a white Swoosh logo, almost reminiscent of a Tiffany & Co. jewelry box. As their Instagram post’s caption details, it’s going to be quite “A Legendary Pair”.

[Update 27 Jan 2023] More detailed imagery of the upcoming Tiffany & Co. x Nike Air Force 1 Low “1837” has emerged! Thanks to @unlaced_memphis on Instagram, we can now enjoy a clearer look at the momentous collaboration.

Through the early leaked photos, we get a closer glimpse at the intricate details of the silhouette, such as the tumbled leather Swoosh logo, “Tiffany” tongue tab branding and the engraved silver bar on the heel. An additional set of white laces are also included on top of the tiffany blue and yellow sets as previously purported. It’s safe to say that when it comes to the world of sneakers, the Diamond Supply Co. x SB Dunk Low “Tiffany” is one of the top most desired “grails” for any ardent sneakerhead. 18 years ago, Nick Tershay, aka Nicky Diamonds, created a Nike SB Dunk that sent shockwaves through the skate and sneaker communities. Its’ rippling effect is felt even until this day, with a brand new pair going for at least US$2500.

Despite adorning Tiffany & Co.’s signature shade of turquoise-blue, the 2005 collaboration was never an official partnership on the side of the famed jewelry brand. However, come spring 2023, the brand will finally tie the knot with Nike to produce an Air Force 1 Low, courtesy of early leaks from @gabeagool on Twitter.

Coming off fresh from its 40th anniversary last year, the Air Force 1 Low seems to keep things simple as compared to its previous jeweler makeovers such as Swarovski. While it does bear some resemblances to Diamond Supply Co.’s SB Dunk, this Air Force 1 Low instead takes on an all-clad black nubuck construction on its upper, save for the iconic tiffany blue applied on its Swoosh.

While simplicity is at the forefront of this design, intricacy is the key. A closer examination reveals that Nike’s traditional laces have been switched out for a thicker rope material—what one would usually find on the handle of a Tiffany & Co. paper bag. Two additional sets of laces in tiffany blue and yellow are also included as per the leaked images. To top it off, the Air Force 1 Low’s regular “Nike Air” branding on the tongue tab has also been swapped out for an embroidered “Tiffany” text.

Perhaps the real gem comes in the form of a sterling 925 silver bar on the heel with the luxury jewelry brand’s name engraved on it, giving the closet staple a touch of luxury that matches Tiffany & Co.’s elegance. According to @soleretriever, this silhouette will officially be dubbed as “1837”, which pays homage to the year Tiffany & Co.’s was founded.

The Tiffany & Co. x Nike Air Force 1 “1837” will reportedly retail for a whopping US$400 and in extremely limited quantities. While there’s no official confirmation from either brand, we are expecting to see them release somewhere in spring this year.
