Aries x Crocs Fires Up With Never-Before-Seen Clogs
The stars align for Aries and Crocs amid an eclectic collection for Fall and Winter 2023.
[Update 7 Sep 2023] Following our initial report, the Aries x Crocs Hiker Escape Clog collection has officially dropped on Aries’ website on 6 September. Check out the official images via the gallery above and if you are feeling this collab, head over and grab your pair now as sizes are already selling out.
Since being introduced in 2010 by Sofia Prantera, Aries has grown from a cult streetwear brand to the face of modern fashion, being worn by almost everyone we know. Though it is unquestionably appropriate given that the brand’s vision is founded on an intrinsic desire to create a collective – a place where everyone is welcome.
Through boundary-pushing collections, multidisciplinary exhibitions, publications, and international art shows, the Aries community, formed by an electrifying spectrum of artists, image creators, and change-builders, has been constructing a new narrative for genderless streetwear for years. Given that the popularity of clogs and slides has been on the rise and its recently released a limited-edition monograph with Mia Khalifa, it seems about time the London-based label flares up through a partnership with Crocs.
Offered in two colorways—black and sand brown—with a never-before-seen design that closely resembles its predecessor hiker clogs. The elastic braiding on the ankle upper and the jibbitz charms give the emblem a rustic, forest-inspired feel.
The comfortable slip-ons are raised by a thick foam midsole for padded support. Unique design elements include a pantheon-inspired pattern derived from the brand’s emblem and a ram’s horn shape that denotes the sign of Aries on the adjustable velcro straps at the heel. Both of the new colorways are finished and feature sawtooth outsoles for more traction.
