To the Nike Air Adjust Force, Every Cloud Has a “White Metallic” Lining
A look straight off a sci-fi film.
Nike’s Air Adjust Force looked slightly different when it first came out in 1996. It was originally a basketball performance shoe before becoming the fashion-forward footwear we see it as today. By the end of the 20th century, it was a staple amongst many NBA players, but until now, it has taken on a lower profile inherently becoming a “unicorn shoe” in the sneaker landscape.
Yoon Ahn, director of the cult streetwear brand helmed its return last year and henceforth handed the reins back to the Swoosh. For their first release since, they deliver the “White Metallic” colorway.
Even sans the AMBUSH branding, it looks relatively similar in make. It summons the same energy as its predecessors despite the absence of their vibrant hues. White, Metallic Silver, and Black form the palette that delivers the same futurism, all of which stit atop a Chrome midsole and a blue crystal rubber outsole.
The Nike branding shines in Metallic Silver featuring a reflective finish on the hallmark “FitWrap” modular jacket. Particularly on the “NIKE” over the midfoot strap, and the Swooshes over the quarter panel and heel.
An exact release date hasn’t been finalized, except for an approximated spring 2023. But find them on SNKRS when D-Day comes to pass for US$170.
