First Look: Nike Air Jordan 7 “White Infrared”
A hallmark colorway of the AJ 6 lands on the 7.
[Update 4 Apr 2023] Official images of the Nike Air Jordan 7 “White Infrared” have recently emerged. It is worth noting that the photos detailed here are of GS sizing, which points towards the possibility of a full family size run on 30 June. Check them out via the top slider above as we await further information about its release!
Every linear Jordan model has a hallmark colorway most associated with it. One such is the Air Jordan 6’s “White Infrared”, which soon enough will be seen on its successor as well.
The iteration of the Air Jordan 7 will feature a very similar color-blocking that perhaps only the most discerning eye will be able to distinguish the two at first glance. White makes up the entirety of the leather base layer allowing contrast for some of the pair’s finer toolings. Its signatures are highlighted with Crimson accents most notably on the Jumpman on the collar, the jagged detailing on the midsole, the “23” embedded on the heel counter, and the Jordan branding on the tongue.
The last in the trio of colors that make up the palette is black. On the upper, it’s mostly confined on the tongue, sock liner, and heel tab. Save for the white, three colors come together on the outsole underfoot but black takes up most real estate while crimson continues to serve as a superlative. And lest we forget, the light blue crystal rubber that adorns the pair on the periphery.
The Air Jordan 7 “White Infrared” is scheduled for release on 30 June, among a slew of retro models preceding and succeeding it. Find them on SNKRS then with an RRP of US$200.
Elsewhere under the Nike umbrella, two additional colorways of the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 SP is set to drop.
