Nike Gives This All-White Air Max Plus a Tinge of Orange
Another Air Max Plus joins the lineup as Nike celebrates the model's 25th anniversary.
The Air Max Plus model is on a strong comeback this year. With the “White University Blue” colorway surfacing recently, the Swoosh brand is set to continue the titular model’s 25th anniversary with an almost all-white offering.
This iteration of the Air Max Plus sees the silhouette dressed in a near-clad white makeover, with subtle hints of boisterous orange accentuating the midsole’s translucent Air bubble units. This Air Max Plus offering also replaces the traditional laces with 3M reflective detailing, as well as highlighting the shoe with utilization of the toggle system present on previous versions of the revitalized model.
Supplementing it’s monochrome aesthetic, the Swoosh logo is given an elusive shimmery finish that camouflages well with the overall mesh construction. Rounding off the shoe’s design is yet another minute sparkle of orange on its tongue tab and insole branding.
While there’s no word yet on its release date, you can expect this Air Max Plus to release in the coming months at a retail price of US$180. Stay tuned as we bring you more updates regarding this release.
