First Look: Air Jordan 5 Low WMNS “Chutney”
A spicy colorway befalls the AJ 5.
The low-cut version of the Air Jordan 5 debuted in 2006, with two women’s colorways opening the doors for its entry. In 2023, another one arrives in the titular “Chutney” colorway, one inspired by the Indian cuisine staple, and it’s Air Jordan 13 counterpart.
It comes dressed in Chutney and Black, with the former making up the base and outsole, accented by the latter on the tongue, laces, and midsole. Save for the TPU mesh quarter window, the mockup pictured seems to have forgone some of its other hallmarks like the 3M reflective tongue and the P-51 mustang-inspired graphic on the lateral midsole.
This’s an extremely early look at the pair so expect more images to arrive as the nine-month waiting window shrinks. Find them on SNKRS come 21 September next year with a RRP of US$180.
