Japanese legacy brand Mizuno drops the inspired, three-piece Fisherman Pack. Representative of the healing powers of water, Deep Sea Blue and Foam White make up the palette of the Wave Prophecy LS, Wave Mujin TL, and Wave Rider 10. The mesh overlays atop the predominantly suede upper pay homage to the fishing nets, along with an image of the kasago, a fish native to the country, imprinted on the insoles.

At the vanguard is the Wave Prophecy LS, most distinguishable by its signature Infinity Wave midsole and AIRmesh breathability. Swimming alongside it is the Wave Rider 10, initially designed for runners, completed with thermoplastic Wave technology. The trio is complete with the final addition of the Wave Mujin TL, featuring a functional heel tab, furrowed midsole and Michelin outsole.

The pack is subsumed under their Fall/Winter 2022 collection and accompanied by breathtaking campaign imagery. Shot by Yuthanan, the visual album was shot on location in Ine, north of Kyoto. The Ine Bay has long been the main trade route between Japan and China. The photos tap into the former’s rich culture, tradition, and heritage; depicting the unique architecture of funaya, wooden boat houses that sit directly on the water, home to the fishermen that contribute to its renowned fishing industry.

All the pairs are available now on the brand’s website as well as END with prices starting at US$177.

Elsewhere, is the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Doernbecher”, part of a collection released with the eponymous children’s hospital.
