[Update 7 Jun 2023] Official images have yet to be disclosed but more leaks of the Nike Air Jordan 2 Low “Look Up In The Air” have surfaced. Either way, keep a look out for its release on 22 June. That’s in a couple weeks! We’ll post the official images here once they reach us. Stay tuned!

[Update 27 Dec 2022] More images have surfaced, courtesy of @prvt.selection. While the finishes aren’t as vivid compared to the live look, these new set does offer more angular ones. The makeup of the outsole, hitherto unseen, shares its real estate with Iced Blue and Steel Grey.

Lying adjacent is the Nike sans serif branding, serving as the centerpiece at the rear. In addition, a more holistic view makes the color-blocking more discernable. Official images should arrive as the release date becomes more imminent.

LINE

The Air Jordan 2 has had a resurgence in 2022 and the inertia will last into the next year, with the arrival of the “Look Up In The Air” iteration. The women’s exclusive shoe is inspired by the titular ad from 1987.

The colors of the aforementioned poster inspire the palette of the shoe. Iced Lilac accents the shoe on the profiles, framing the brogued toe box. Moving along, it gradates to Ice Blue the closer it gets to the tongue, engulfing the heel collar before proliferating in the interior. There, the footbed sees the silhouette of the—presumably—Chicago skyline on the rear with the “LOOK, UP IN THE AIR” slogan imprinted over the purple and orange hues of the sky.

Completing the color blocking are the Summit White suede on the quarter panel, the Muslin finish on the rubber midsole, translucent heel counter, and eyestays, followed by the White leather base layer. Underfoot sees the Light Steel Grey sharing duties with the Iced Blue mentioned earlier.

The Air Jordan 2 Low “Look Up In The Air” found its place on the Jumpman’s packed release calendar on 22 June, 2023. When D-Day comes to pass, find them on SNKRS with a RRP of US$150.
