The Air Jordan 1 Low Golf “Black Croc” or “White Croc”? Take Your Pick
Michael Jordan came back "for the love of the game". These days he might be referring to golf.
[Update 3 May 2023] A restock for the Air Jordan 1 Low Golf Crocodile pack is set to take place via Nike on 3 May. For those who are still looking to cop a pair, don’t miss this opportunity.
[Update 2 Feb 2023] Following an initial release on 22 January, a Japan release date for the Air Jordan 1 Low Golf Crocodile pack has surfaced. Scheduled to drop on 9 February, the pairs will be available for purchase via Nike and selected retailers.
Michael Jordan’s inhuman work ethic seems deeply imbedded in his eponymous brand. Among the barrage of retro releases scheduled for 2023, the commemorative “Year of the Rabbit” collection, and all the inline offerings under their umbrella, they still managed to find time in the sun for two more black and white golf-ready Air Jordan 1s.
Uniformity is the MO for the pairs-in-discussion, a singular colorway dressing them. The crocodile textile overlays takes centerstage on the mudguard, the profile Swooshes, and the entirety of the segmented heel counter. Supporting the star of the show are the smooth leather base layer on the toe box and quarter panel. For regalia comes the branding elements seen on the tongue tag and footbed, the Jumpman Golf logo. Drawing most attention in that department however, would be the Jordan Wings embroidery on the heel.
Their uppers might share uniformity but they deviate on the sole unit. The black iteration features a white midsole and black underfoot, while white adorns its co-star throughout.
Neither Nike nor Jordan Brand have disclosed a firm release date, aside from a spring 2023. When the warmer months do arrive, and the putting green sheds its icy surface, find them on SNKRS with a price tag of US$140.
Moving to more imminent releases, check out the incoming Nike Air Jordan 4 WMNS “Oil Green”.
