“Inside Out” Flips the Script Again on the Air Jordan 1 Low
A manmade design, a handmade motif, a machine-made precision.
The “Inside Out” motif seems to be growing in popularity considering that this isn’t its first application on the Air Jordan 1 Low. It’s far from a one-and-done it seems with plenty more new colorways to explore. Normally everybody demands an immaculate construction on their footwear, but there’s a small subset enough in size to convince the Jumpman to carry it on, that appreciates the handmade aesthetic of a bygone era.
Succeeding the “Navy” colorway, the pair-in-discussion goes from one reminiscent of aqua, to one reminiscent of terra firma. Earth tones engulf the pair in various shades of brown. The darkest arrives by way of the outsole underfoot and the quarter panel base layer. From there, a pale yellow bears its time in the sun through the interior, the profile Swooshes, the Jordan Wings embroidery on the heel counter, and the tongue. The last a ballistic mesh textile, like the heel counter in khaki.
The aforementioned color lays prominent on the mudguard and eyestays as well, with a lighter finish on the toe box. Branding elements are further presented on the Jumpman on the tongue, dressed in the same sail of the laces and midsole. Final embellishments include the atypical exposed foam on the tongue and the “2” and “3” decorative stitching on the Swooshes.
2023 mark its release though a precise date hasn’t been disclosed by Nike. Expect to find them on SNKRS for US$120 when D-Day does come to pass.
