Education has changed over the years, especially since the pandamic with more classes going remote through online learning and it wasn’t an exception for the students of Charlotte Lab School. With a virtual platform hosted by The Whitaker Group and ASICS team, the students were exposed to a new learning perspective through sessions which led to the birth of the “Eternal Summer” project.

Inspired by the excitement and nostalgic feeling of summer holidays, the project looks to the sports label’s GEL-LYTE V silhouette. Focused on a brighter outlook with two colorways, respectively Grey and Yellow, premium suede fills the upper with a unique gradient color decorating the custom insoles.

Set for a limited run of 1,500 pairs per variation, the students were involved in every aspects of the development process—working with the creative teams on the campaign, to learning how to launch the product in their newly-designed in-school store.

With a release date of 17th December, a raffle draw for the Charlotte Lab School x The Whitaker Group x ASICS GEL-LYTE V pack is now opened via Social Status with a launch at Social Status spaces on the actual day for $140 a pair.
