But Gucci and Dickies have managed to do just that, unveiling a shiny new collection that was unprecedented to both high fashion aficionados and workwear enthusiasts. Its incognito status is not unexpected, though — who would’ve predicted that luxury’s opulence would coalesce with a garment segment that prioritises functionality, an ethos that is practically its antithesis?

Regardless, the collaborative effort is here, and it’s a studded and sturdy selection. Per Gucci’s flamboyance, Dickies’ Eisenhower Jacket and 874 Pants receive studded embellishments that transform the pieces from out-in-the-field function to Christmas Party appropriate. The silver embellishments are saturated up top and disperses into a gradient, each piece hand-applied by Gucci’s skilled craftsmen, exuding an undeniably elevated quality that’s beyond just eye-catching.

Notably, a beige cropped Eisenhower Jacket also joins the lineup for an added chic redesign. Bermuda shorts, jackets, work shirts and other Dickies’ staples also enjoy this luxe upgrade, and it is expected that all their retail prices have also been elevated too.
