Denim Tears x Stüssy Shows a Cultural Side of Fashion
Clothes with an identity.
Since stepping up as the Creative Director of Supreme, there is no doubt that Tremaine Emory is one of the most notable designers within the current fashion scene. Even with founding Denim Tears, he has pushed boundaries with his philosophy towards cultures through collaborations with various labels.
Just having revealed a guest capsule collection with Dior a few days back, Emory is back with streetwear label Stüssy for another upcoming apparel release.
Lined up in a multiple-piece range, the duo looks to patterns and colors found mainly from Emory’s African American background. While transposed Stüssy prints fill the body of denim sets and t-shirts, the African American flag adorns the sleeve of knitwears alongside a Rastafarian striped tote bag, floral printed trousers and more.
Set to release on 9th December, the entire Denim Tears x Stüssy collection will be made available via Stüssy and selected Dover Street Market locations.
