Deaton Chris Anthony x Vault by Vans Brings Style to Bowling
Paying homage to his home state of Kansas.
Bowling shoes were never a thing for many, but to Los-Angeles based artist Deaton Chris Anthony, it is more than something that one wears on the alley. Growing up in Kansas, the artist spent most of his time with the sport, eventually becoming the bowling captain in his high school and setting high scores at regionals.
With years passed and now working as a creative, Deaton has decided to look back to his passion in a more stylish fashion. Partnering up with Vault by Vans, the duo introduces a capsule collection that is dedicated to the sport. Introducing the OG SCS LX, the duo offers a more unique approach to footwear with trio-color panels and velcro closure on the bowling shoe inspired silhouette. Going for a more nostalgic take, the Knu Skool VLT LX reminisce the times that one spent on the lawn in classic white vans with greased-treated uppers.
Accompanying the footwear comes with a range of apparel and accessories, all keeping true to Deaton’s DIY-aesthetic with guides to mix, match and cut pieces for a more unique finish.
Set to release on 9th December, the Deaton Chris Anthony x Vault by Vans collection will be made available for purchase via Vans and selected retailers.
