The Adidas Puffylette Takes On the Stan Smith, Samba, Forum and Superstar
A not-so-subtle nod to adidas' most iconic sneakers.
We first met the adidas Puffylette in September and called it a pillow for the feet. Following up on the OG black colorway, adidas Originals has recently released a “Fake Printed” pack, just in time for the chilly fall weather.
The “Fake Printed” pack is, in a not-so-subtle way, an homage to the house of adidas and its most well-known sneaker silhouettes. The adidas Puffylette “Fake Printed” pack is made up of four colorways—Stan Smith, Samba, Forum and Superstar—and as the name suggests, each pair is printed with fake 3D imagery of an aforementioned iconic adidas shoe.
What’s more? The colors on the Puffylette’s EVA midsoles and outsoles follow those of the original sneakers to a T: yellowed soles for the “Superstar”, brown for the “Samba” and so on. Of course, under the puffy water-resistant nylon uppers, these slip-ons are inbuilt with the same PrimaLoft insulation to help keep your feet warm and toasty.
In the three months since the adidas Puffylette’s original release, the weather has transited from hot and humid to cold and rainy. Time to swap those Crocs for a comfy pair of Puffylette, perhaps? The adidas Puffylette is available now for SG$160 (~US$118) via adidas ; if you are residing outside of Singapore, you can also grab an authenticated pair via our SNKRDUNK App.
