Packer, one of America’s pioneering footwear and apparel boutiques collaborate with Reebok for a reimagining of the Club C. The iteration elevates the legacy sneaker from a casual easy Sunday fit, to bar night Friday fashion.

The subtlety of the silhouette is undisturbed. White leather taking up most of the construction of the upper wth orderly perforations lined along the toe box and the tongue. Burgundy adds a bolder touch, albeit restrained, by taking up space on the sock liner, a hit on the tongue tag, and the lateral window panel. The palette of the sole unit breaks off the rest of the shoe through the cream midsoles and grey underfoot.

When most brands make their logo the centerpiece, this collaboration goes the other way: keeping their branding to a minimum, a supporting cast as opposed to being the star of the show. Reebok’s branding elements arrive by way of the embossed logo on the lateral heel on the midsole, and a tonal white imprint on the tongue tag. Packer’s taking up real estate on the lateral window panel before the two converge on the insoles.

The collaborative pair will be released on 2 December at Packer’s shop with a price tag of US$120.
