As the curtains draw to a close this year, releases scheduled for the next have already begun surfacing. In 2023, Nike will be reintroducing their “Kiss My Airs” collection with an all-new lineup that includes the titular Air Max Plus.

This iteration sees the pair’s signature upper in a greyscale gradation, with the TPU wave lines overlaid in black. The color makes its presence in many other components: from the patent leather mudguard, the laces and lace loops, the sock liner, through to the sole unit underfoot, only interrupted by other integrated toolings.

The navy TPU Swoosh stands out against the uniform background. Other branding elements like the one on the insoles carry the same shade, with the the gel-wrapped logo on the tongue carrying a lighter hue.

Next, a polyp-textured finish is applied on the tongue while south of it are 3M reflective strips resting on the toe box. The aforementioned overlay repeats at the bottom of the upper traversing from the mudguard through to the entirety of the heel. Right above on the lateral heel is the “KISS MY AIRS” tag.

The sole unit remains the hallmark. The Tuned Air technology is a mainstay as seen on the air bubble windows from the forefoot and heel, set apart only by the gradient blue base midfoot. The Tune Air insignia makes an appearance underfoot as it did on the heel tab up top.

The Air Max Plus “Kiss My Airs” is expected to have a RRP of US$175. They’ll be available on Nike’s brick-and-click when the release date comes to pass, although nothing has been disclosed at the time of writing.
