With the passing of Off-White’s founder Virgil Abloh back in 2021, it is not known what were the potential plans the late American designer had in stall for the public but South Korea-based menswear label POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) has decided to see through the initial project that the duo were planning to showcase.

“Virgil Abloh, We will finish what we started. Rest in Peace.” – Doongjoon Lim, Creative Director of PAF.

Almost a year has passed and the duo has taken to Instagram to announce a surprise drop of collaborative collection, titled “EQUIPMENT”. Evoking the thoughts behind human existance, the collection consists of 12 items which focuses on conceptual utility. Intrigued by the evolution of humans, the duo utilizes a ‘fig leaf’ as a symbol and depiction of Adam and Eve.

Introducing an apparel lineup ranging from tops, outers to accessories, all items will be available in both black and white colorways. Reflecting the sights of urban landscape, layered fig leaves on the body of garments creates a unique contrast that almost resembles the concept of camouflaging.

Alongside the main collection comes with a special collaboration with Helinox and Victonorix, respectively in the form of a portable chair and Swiss Army knife, all constructed uniquely for this collaboration.

Set to release on 18th November 6pm KST, the Off-White x POST ARCHIVE FACTION “EQUIPMENT” collection will be made available via Off-White and PAF.
