After releasing a highly anticipated (but slightly controversial) album with 21 Savage, Drake is now diverting his full attention to his fashion extension with Nike. As ardent NOCTA certified lovers would know, previous drops have always been well within neutral territory, but it seems like Drake is dabbing his paint brush into the softer palettes for this upcoming collection.

Leading the Fall 2022 offerings are two new Nike x NOCTA Hot Step Air Terra colorways in Lavender, a titular pastel purple, and Champagne, a simplistic cool-tone white. Though these are fresh out of Nike’s official vault, sneaker sleuths would have seen these colors multiple times before — they’ve been leaked for a good few months now, and are finally getting their debut in the retail space. As expected, the leather uppers are coated in their respective tonal colors and details are kept minimal. Nike’s Swoosh is minimized and placed near the heel, where an exposed air bubble sits. NOCTA’s tri-stars are encased within resin on the tongue. Campaign images reveal that the heel and eyelet are made of reflective material, making them pop under the flashes of night photography.

Accompanying the release of these two colorways are complementary Cardinal Stock pieces in similar colorblocking. Though a full suite of apparel—from tees and sweats to track sets and socks—is churned out for this Fall 2022 collection, the hero product would have to be the high neck grape purple windbreaker with lighter geometric paneling that accentuate the silhouette. This outerwear is also available in a cream and pastel blue combination.

Other standouts of this collection would include the pastel blue techwear-esque jacket. The typical zippers and pockets are included with a minimal, silver Swoosh marking it part of Nike’s works. The cyberpunk-influenced style oft comes in shades of black, making this NOCTA colorway a unique rendition that’s hard to come by. Perhaps as a nod to the teased NOCTA Air Zoom Flight 95, a stark red puffer jacket also makes an appearance.

This entire Nike x NOCTA Fall 2022 collection is slated to drop on 18 November. Specific pricing details will likely follow then.
