Since its debut as a basketball shoe in 1970, the adidas Originals Superstar has transcended through the realms of sports and became a fashion icon for many through its appearance in the streetwear and music scene. This time, partnering up with atmos, the duo has look to one of Japan’s own superstar, Daiki Tsuneta for a new iteration of the classic model.

Introducing the adidas Originals x atmos “SST Daiki Tsuneta”, the triple collaboration features the silhouette in a light ultramarine finish on the uppers, constrasted with white on the three stripes and logos on the heel tabs.

Topping the chart with his music through various projects including King Gnu, millennium parade and PERIMETRON, the musician is also widely known for his unique worldview towards art which reflects through the graphics printed on the insoles and outsoles.

“My own Superstar model is finally getting a release. I’ve always wanted to make a cool blue colorway which is also a never-before-seen for the silhouette. I’ve put a lot of love and energy into this collaboration, so do take this opportunity to get a pair.” – Daiki Tsuneta

Retailing at 14,300 JPY (~US$105), the adidas Originals x atmos “SST Daiki Tsuneta” will be made available via atmos’ online raffle from 22nd to 25th November, followed by a general release on 26th November.
