Home Alone 2 x adidas Forum Low

Christmas is approaching, Mariah Carey is defrosting, and Christmas movies (that may or may not include Die Hard) are algorithmically popping up. And so are these adidas Forum Low. The Three Stripes released an iteration of the pair last year in line with the holiday season. The first was inspired by the shenanigans of Kevin McCallister and the Wet Bandits. This sequel shoe fittingly inspired by the sequel film, takes its design cues from the Central Park Pigeon Lady and her aesthetic.

The Home Alone 2 x adidas Forum Low gets delivered in a white base layer supported by an off-white midsole. Looking to the pigeons themselves for the color palette, suede overlays wrap around the pair from the mudguard to the heel, with varying shades of grey, from light to dark. Black comes around on the three stripes on the profiles, a strip on the lateral and medial heel, as well as the outsole underfoot.

The Pigeon Lady is brought into the fray by way of the sock liner inspired by her magenta coat. The hang tag on the eye stays places her along with her famous quote, “I’m like the birds I care for”. Close by, the strap details the New York City timeline over the Home Alone branded tongue tags.

A release date hasn’t been disclosed by adidas but it’s safe to assume the pair will be arriving sometime within the festive period. Should any new information or images come to light, we’ll send them your way.

Elsewhere, Jeremy Scott returns with two pairs in the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Forum “Graffiti Pack”.
