and wander is a Japanese outerwear label founded in 2011 by two former Issey Miyake designers, Keita Ikeuchi and Mihoko Mori. The two have been exercise their proclivities for the great outdoors, imbedding it into the DNA of their apparel line, resulting in engineered garments ready for a tête-à-tête with Mother Nature.

Thus far, they’ve collaborated with some industry titans like Salomon. And their next partnership is as much a match made in heaven as the summit they design for. For their maiden effort with adidas Terrex, a Three Stripes subsidiary geared towards more functional clothing, they produce a collection that’s ready to take you from the city, to the mountaintop, and beyond—in style.

The offering will include two iterations of the TERREX Free Hiker 2 in neutral colorways, outfitted with a PRIMEKNIT upper, tonal mudguards protectors, branded heel guards, and finished off with the hallmark BOOST sole unit. Accompanying the footwear offerings, the collection will also see the introduction of the TERREX XPLORIC and wander COLD.RDY Down Jacket, alongside a TERREX Fleece Jacket and TERREX Pants.

Black and cream dominate most of the apparel with the “Mustard Yellow” standing in contrast to its contemporaries. The hoodies feature elastic closures with reflective unhinged lightning graphics on the chest with dual-branding elements proximate to it.

In addition are the puffed down jackets made from recycled COLD.RDY insulating, water-proof material. An adjustable strapped pocket on the chest allows for an ideal fit, complemented by a modular hood for all conditions. Accessories will come in the form of a Merino Wool Hiking Socks, quilted headgear, and practical AERO.RDY Hiking Backpacks.

The and wander x adidas TERREX collection will be available from 1st November on adidas’ website and their Confirmed app.
