Feed Your Neighbor: Sky High Farm Workwear x Converse Chuck 70 Hi
A shoe with a cause.
Access to healthy, fresh food is a privilege that, unfortunately, not everyone in the world shares in. Sky High Farm recognises the importance of furthering food security and utilises its 30-acre of farmland to practice regenerative farming and donates its sustainable produce to communities in need. To aid in pushing such a mission to the masses, Dover Street Market has created the Sky High Farm Workwear line to support the cause.
Back in June, Converse paired up with the project to produce a pair of black Chuck 70s that featured Sky High Farm’s Strawberry Moon logo. The Converse All-Star logo was also reimagined with a smiling face and was bordered with the phrases “Feed Your Neighbor” and “Love Your Neighbor”, aptly tying into the farm’s mission. The collaborative project was intended to uplift the nonprofit’s commitment to expand access to fresh food — because what better way to spread the word than to have the public wear it out on the streets?
Fast forward to October, and Converse is rekindling this project through another Converse x Sky High Farm Workwear Chuck 70, but this time in bright University Blue. This refreshed colorway retains all the adorable elements of its parent model, all the way down to co-branded insoles. Those that still prefer the OG Black, fret not! Sky High Farm Workwear has also prepared a restock of its first collaborative color.
Both pairs are available on Sky High Farm Workwear’s webshop while Converse and Dover Street Market carries the University Blue iteration. They retail for US$150. Look to the top slider for more images!
This isn’t the only cause Converse has pledged themselves to. Check out their collaborative effort with CLOT, which helps to gain awareness of at risk pandas and conservation efforts by the WWF.
