Sportwears label HOKA ONE ONE has always been a big name known among many for not only releasing footwear suited for athletes from any field but also for being one of the first in the industry for producing oversized shoes. While gaining popularity as a lifestyle brand and among sneakerheads through various collaborations, the footwear label has decided to take the trend of chunky footwear to a whole new level through the release of the new ‘Mafate Origins’ silhouette.

Designed for trail runners, the Mafate Origins is introduced as an update from the 2010-released Mafate 3 model through the use of modern technology and materials. Crafted as a more casual approach meant for everyday wear, the sneaker also features a quick-lacing system for easier wear, along with the brand’s signature volumized EVA midsole which provides the best of support and comfort for the foot. Initially released in a Blue colorway, minimalistic options were added with a following release of both a Black and a White colorway.

Retailing for 170 GBP (~US$200) a pair, the HOKA ONE ONE Mafate Origins is available via HOKA ONE ONE and selected retailers.
