It is not an unusual sight for a signature footwear to be made and released for any well-known athlete, but to be made with someone other than the athlete in mind can be quite a suprise to many.

WNBA superstar Elle Delle Donne introduced her signature shoe some time back, with inspirations mainly from her older sister, Lizzie, who has cerebral palsy and autism. Creating a shoe not only for herself, but also for people with special needs became an important factor in the design process.

This time, Elle Delle Donne is bringing back her Nike Air Deldon in a new colorway. Detailed with the popular “White Cement” print, the shoe features the FlyEase technology that plays an important part of her design philosophy of allowing the shoe to be worn easily. Finished with the phrase “Together We Fly” on the medial ankle and insoles, she spreads a positive message of treating everyone equally, regardless of any disabilities.

No release dates are confirmed yet, but do expect the Nike Air Deldon “Together We Fly” to drop in the upcoming weeks for a retail price of $120 via Nike and selected retailers.
