[Update 12 Mar 2024] First unveiled in 2022, the characters KAWS made for his General Mills collaboration will finally be released as vinyl figures on 12 March, 12PM (ET). By now, KAWS is a name that needs no introduction having been part of the pop culture zeitgeist for more than two decades; his body of work instantly recognizable, no matter the geography. While his collaborations with brands in the fashion and lifestyle space are well-known and highly-coveted, he’s also applied his signature on consumables before, having worked with Reese’s last year.

Once more he taps into General Mills’ IP to bring us the artist’s double X-eyed reimagining of Franken Berry, Count Chocula, Boo-Berry, and Frute Brute—the last of which makes an appearance after more than a decade. The collection will include specially-designed graphic t-shirts featuring the aforementioned “Monsters”, as well as cereal boxes that’s already in the market all over the United States. The collection will go live on 11th October on KAWS official web store.
