Back-to-School Vibes With DESCENDANT x adidas Original Campus Pack
Giving the classics a new life.
Japanese fashion director Tetsu Nishiyama is an individual that always seeks a purpose through what he does. With WTAPS, he emphasized on the importance of “Placing things where they should be” as the brand’s philosophy. Taking on a similar approach, he founded DESCENDANT with “Give life meaning” as a message that he wants to spread through his clothing.
Partnering up with adidas Originals, DESCENDANT announced the release of a Campus pack for their upcoming collaboration. Using the Campus II silhouette as the base, the shoe is given a padded shoe tongue to add volume to the overall silhouette. Replacing the pig skin suede that the original models have, DESCENDANT went with a more environment friendly approach with using Japan-made synthetic fibers on the upper.
Retailing at JPY14,500 (~US$100), the DESCENDANT x adidas Originals Campus Pack will be available in two colorways from 14th October 12pm JST via DESCENDANT, followed by selected retailers on 21st October.
